Magic RDS is the software Pira recommends for programming the P332 encoders.   You enter settings in the software, and then send those settings to the encoder via a serial cable or IP web connection, either way works.

The web GUI is also useful for changing any settings in the unit.  You can query the current dynamic Radio Text, etc.

Agreed the P332 is really nice.    Been using them about three years with no issues.   Feed them serial now playing data over a satellite serial data channel, and the web access is nice to check operation or make any programming changes.   Could also feed now playing data via the web.

I’ve got some, I’m pretty sure that you can do everything through the web interface, that you can do otherwise. They are really nice for the money.

Hi all,

If you have been waiting on the newest PiraCZ 332 RDS encoder, I just got an email from Jan saying that they were available.

The new unit has some form of web access but honestly not sure exactly how extensive it is.  I have ordered one for a customer and will be checking it out in a couple of weeks when it arrives.
