Hi Jim,

FWIW: There are still a great many tube transmitters in service across the nation mostly I would guess in smaller markets.  I have several in service in rural areas that are giving good service though all but one of the ones we maintain are CCA.  We have one E-O that is still providing decent service though I prefer the CCA.  Someone can probably use yours.  :-)

Blessings!

If you are like me, you probably have some older tube type FM transmitters in a garage or a corner. What can be done with these things? I have three older Energy Onix transmitters in various states of non-functionality. Should I just hire some one to haul them off for scrap? I have no desire to fix them, although two of them would probably still work. Are there missionary radio organizations that would take them? I just need to get them out of the way.
