A couple of years ago (2016) we moved our church to a VOIP PBX.  We have an off-site hosted server running FreePBX.  Dropped the cost from about $800 per month with AT&T copper lines to less than $100 per month.  We do all our administration, as the server provider only takes care of the hardware.

Be glad to talk more about this off-list if interested.

Is anyone here administering their own PBX? What are you using? Good idea or bad idea? Saving lots of $$? We are going to move away from AT&T and go with a VOIP solution, and could use some ideas.

Thanks,
