He said software though, So I’ll second the pira.cz silence monitor. If you want hardware, Inovonics makes the 610 which is wonderful for this purpose. They make a larger unit that watches 4 streams at once as well, don’t remember the model.
I use the pira software to monitor my onair status, runs on the same machine as my logger software, works nice. I get email and text. It can also run programs and scripts which might be handy.
If you already have hardware with a contact closure, you could work something up with a raspberry pi. I’ve used NodeRed for such purposes in the past.
