SSD’s are fine. Set it up in the RAID of your choice. If one fails, replace. Unless you plan to have the server for YEARS, you shouldn’t run into a read/write limit. They’re there for sure, but SSD’s are much better able to handle those compared to when this was a real issue years ago. Don’t fret about it at all, seriously. If you can afford it, get the best you can that fits your environment.

From what I’ve read, SSDs (solid state drive) are a great idea for your main OS and program files.  However, for audio/data that changes every day, it’s better to stay with HDD (hard drive).  SSDs don’t do well with a lot of re-writes of files.
