This has that same feature, however, that would completely render our "oops-proof" system useless.

To explain: the ability to switch transmitters is controlled by pressing AND HOLDING a button on the legacy R/C system for 5 seconds. This completely prevents "OOOPS! I didn't mean to do that!"

Setting the momentary delay to 5 seconds... well, you see where THAT'S going? Accidental click = 5 seconds relay hold time, and "Poof!" we're off the air. Oops-proof system, useless. Not good.

If the relay follows the button, then an accidental click does nothing. Otherwise, "Are you sure?" can be activated, but it affects EVERYTHING, and that's nuts. ;)

Yes, that is a useful feature, especially if programmable.  I use a timed relay feature in my Davicom units when rebooting some piece of equipment or holding a solenoid valve open for a certain amount of time. They have a programmable feature for setting a time duration (Pulse width) for momentary contact closures/opennings from 100 ms to hours. I use such a feature automatically for the most part except for a reboot of a router or something. In that case I made a button on my screen control panel to activate the relay pulse width set to 10 seconds. Just click it and it does the rest.
