I have noticed that I don’t get certain users post’s, notably Jim “Turbo” Turvaville, but I do still get at least some of the post’s. I do occasionally et emails from things like yahoogroups/groups.io list’s that I’m on, but really have no idea if I get them all as I rarely bother to login and check posts, I just rely on the emails coming through.
So I’ve noticed I’m not getting emails from CRTech and other email lists and have found a common denominator. They all keep the sender’s email address and enough header information in the “distributed” email that when my email server does it’s “is this email legit” check to the original senders email MX DNS addresses and sees that they don’t match and flags the email as likely spoofed. I wish they’d have a way to mark legitimate email lists as that so that there is a way to tell the spam checker that possibly not everything is going to match up to the original sender’s source server.
Anyone else noticing this too? If I don’t reply just shoot me a message direct if you need me.
