Don:

You might also want to check the “clamshell” of the dish. Three builder’s strings across the dish 120 degrees apart to check for symmetry. The strings should all be within ¼” of each other at the center. Just mentioning polarity of LNB to throw out an idea.

Hope you find the problem.

Don,

Would it be worth considering internet instead? That's what we do and it has been flawless - all automated.

Team,

We replaced our satellite dish from 10ft to 12ft (STI-12 3.8 meter mesh Satellite Prime) to be 2 degree compliant.  Unfortunately our signal has decreased rather increase as we expected.

We purchased a PRIE C-Band feed horn and Norsat PLL LNB C3220F but we could not get a signal to use.  We installed the old LNB and have a signal but not as strong as originally with the 10 mesh dish.

We are not sure if the LNB is bad or not compatible with the AMR and XDS-PRO4R.

What LNB has your radio stations chosen to use?  Is the LNB C3220F a good choice?

Thanks for any input you can give us,

Don Prentice
