Thread-topic: [CRTech] apple update

The iOS 11 forced-incompatibility with 32-bit-only apps has been known for many months, if not more than a year...  there is nothing "all of a sudden" about this.  If this caught your app developer off guard, or they didn't notify you of needing an update to be compatible going forward, then you maybe should look at getting someone new to develop apps for you...

So, this is why our radio app isn't working for our Apple users all of a sudden!  Sigh...

Older apps built with 32-bit architecture will not open in iOS 11, since
it's the first OS version requiring all apps to be 64-bit.  I'm not sure
how long you can hold-off on the update though.

Looks like Apple is wanting to do a forced update of the OS to
v11.(something) tonight.  Should I be wary?  I have heard v11 isn't ready
for prime time. Do I have any choice? This is on an iPhone 7.
