Here’s a quick update on the XDS Firmware Update: Microspace Communications ended the broadcast of the firmware to XS receivers via satellite earlier this morning
after having it run 48-hours over August 1-2.
I see about 57 units in our XDS Network Management System that appear to have downloaded the new firmware, but which are awaiting a hard reboot (power recycle)
to complete the installation. There is no “rush” on this, and it should be done when the receiver’s programming is not airing on your station, as the process will typically take several minutes. But it would be good to complete this in the next several days.
If anyone may have missed that firmware update, there will probably be another satellite refeed of the Version 3.4.11 Firmware later this month. There is also
a manual Internet download process available. If anyone is interested in more information on either option, please feel free to contact me off-list directly at

Also updated the AMBOS UI, and it re-downloaded a few Moody programs from prior days. Got it straightened out. :)
