FWIW... We all have different experiences and you all may know
better than me.... I have found that windows boxes need to be restarted nearly
weekly depending on what they have been running, especially if using browsers.
You can also look at the Task Manager to see what apps and processes are running
and if the cpu or disk are running at 100% or close to it and what processes or
apps are hogging the resource. With win10 this is easier to see but it also
seems to need more attention when running on older machines. I don't use the
AMBOS GUI because we have the AMR100 send directly to our Linux automation
server and then run a script to automatically import the audio into the correct
groups/carts with adjusted dates. It's been working flawlessly for a couple of
years. The only downside of this is reviewing the audio for issues... which we
typically haven't done and fortunately haven't needed to, thanks to the good
people at AMBOS.
