Thread-topic: QEI 3K transmitter
Dear Sirs

I am posting this information for the potential hobbyist.

We have a 30 year old transmitter (the original box) for our main facility in Southern Minnesota.

We went from 3K to 50K and retired the original transmitter.  It was used for a few years to place a new frequency on the air and was retired about three years ago when we installed a new Nautel.  It was/is temperamental and therefore it was removed from service and placed in storage.  It has a rebuild tube in the cavity and one reserve in a box and original manual.

---

Here's the deal.  If there is someone wanting and willing to come an get it, it's yours. (first come first serve).  I am removing the transformers in the base to lighten the load.

We will be scrapping it if not one wants to put it in their personal broadcast museum.

Please let me know if you are interested.  markb@newmail.kinshipradio.org (507) 525-6547.

Thanks

Mark (MN)
