I just installed a Novia 236 this morning on a 1 kW station with a DAX-1. It is about 45 miles from another station of mine with an Omnia One AM running a Nautel J-1000. I was very impressed with the Novia in an A/B comparison on my truck radio (aftermarket unit with poor AM bandwidth).
BSW and other suppliers will often give you a “30 day trial” in that you buy the unit, but if you aren’t satisfied, they will take it back for full refund/credit.
I have also used the bottom of the line BW Broadcast AM processor on a J-1000 with good results.
As always, YMMV,

Subject: [CRTech] AM Audio Processors
I'm considering replacing or possibly refurbishing my AM audio processor. Has anyone had experience using or testing the Inovonics Novia 236 AM processor on a live station?
The Orban 9300 is tempting but so much more money. Has anyone had experience with this one? I hear that it's good.
