When I started at WDOR 910, Sturgeon Bay, WI in 1962, they had two of those beasts full of octal tubes, but I never took any pictures of the gear or anything else around the station. Xmtr was a used Ratheon RA-1000 installed in 1952 when the station went on. They eventually got an RCA 1kW and an Audimax and Volumax, which I think were still on the air 3 years ago when I stopped in. The RCA was, and my note about how to adjust it was still on the wall. It's a time warp, Magnacords still in the racks, too!

Might anyone have such a picture?
