...and as to the L band .... your dish, and the signal you are
receiving are C-band. your LNB converts the C-band frequencies into
"L-band" frequencies for the unity 4k, or whatever other satellite
receiver you are using.
ie the satellite to your dish is C-band, from dish to receiver is
L-band, so you're definitely using C-band.
