Thread-topic: [CRTech] Portable Battery-powered PA speaker

Maybe this? https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1321909-REG/ - has pretty good reviews.

We are using a portable PA and it’s pretty easy to open our radio station’s streaming app on a smartphone, and plug that into the PA.  And since my cell phone has the FM chip unlocked, I can do that without using cell data.

I don't know what is currently on the market but I went to a funeral about 20 years ago where the mortuary had one on a

stand out in the cemetery. It had a microphone input and  played music from some source but I don't remember what it was.

I would be surprised if someone hadn't improved on the concept in the years since.

Is there any product out there that takes the form of a portable PA speaker like 8, 12, or 15-inch, that has an internal amplifier, powered by a rechargeable, replaceable battery pack, has a built-in FM tuner, while also allowing Mic inputs to be able to use as a small PA system?

I've looked around Amazon for a while, and the quantity of what look like absolute junk is astounding... And nothing seems to have a built in FM tuner... everything is Bluetooth now... Darn Young'uns... ;)

Just trying to check to see if anyone is using something similar to what I tried to describe above?  Our promotions dept. is looking for something that's easy to grab-n-go, not worry about finding a power source, and is able to play the station and talk locally for local events with the "station vehicle".

Thanks,

Brian
