Thread-topic: Portable Battery-powered PA speaker

It looks like chances finding one with a built-in tuner are slim.

I’ve used Anchor products before and I didn’t much care for the audio quality, especially for music. And the price is high.

I’ve used some rather small Behringer powered speakers (not battery) inside for “small pa” jobs and have been happy with the sound.

It might be the easiest way is to stream your signal on a smart phone and then send it via Bluetooth to the speaker.

Subject: [CRTech] Portable Battery-powered PA speaker

Is there any product out there that takes the form of a portable PA speaker like 8, 12, or 15-inch, that has an internal amplifier, powered by a rechargeable, replaceable battery pack, has a built-in FM tuner, while also allowing Mic inputs to be able to use as a small PA system?

I've looked around Amazon for a while, and the quantity of what look like absolute junk is astounding... And nothing seems to have a built in FM tuner... everything is Bluetooth now... Darn Young'uns... ;)

Just trying to check to see if anyone is using something similar to what I tried to describe above?  Our promotions dept. is looking for something that's easy to grab-n-go, not worry about finding a power source, and is able to play the station and talk locally for local events with the "station vehicle".

Thanks,

Brian
