Attachment came through fine.
Brings back memories of the first station where I worked … I had my hands inside the console working with the lid up on our Autogram while the station was on-air, and my pager set to “stun" mode buzzed suddenly from an incoming page.
Since I had previously worked for an electrician and was unfortunately familiar with the buzzing/tingling feeling of getting bitten by 120VAC, my already-heightened sense of vulnerability (since it was just about my first time working on the board while it was on the air) immediately made me think I was getting shocked because of the pager’s vibration on my waist.
After a yelp and instinctive jump back from the console, I sheepishly looked around to see if anybody had seen my reaction…. But the coast was clear, and I got back to work once the adrenaline dissipated.
Ah, yes… old-school stuff. <Smile>
