I'm not sure what they are charging for this. We received a discount worked out through our FCC attorney's office. I've been hearing it is in the neighborhood of $1,000.

What does the coordination study cost from Comsearch?

Hey Cameron,

The FCC will include you in the registry with or without the study if you meet the July 18 deadline. There is a freeze right now so you shouldn't have any new interference problems until the freeze is lifted. Then, you will/may be required to have the study completed in order for you to begin to receive interference protection. What "protection" means depends on what the FCC does with this spectrum vis-à-vis 5G broadband.

Comsearch is the outfit we used for the study. There are few companies that do this study. We filed on May 7th when we heard about this, the application was "accepted for filing" on the 16th. No word since.

Has anyone on the forum done the signal studies/engineering study with the registration form?  I’m given to understand the FCC is accepting registrations in this window without them, but that without it you won’t be granted or guaranteed any protection.

Anyone have any additional clarity on that point, and where we can get the study if needed done in time to complete our filing?

I didn’t find a cheat sheet with a response to 43a.   My research found this:

So selected A, not subject to geographic service requirements.

The majority of antennas I can identify from pictures. Please feel free to send me a picture and I will try to help.

Mark Bohnett threw me a curve ball that I’m trying to research.  But I’m happy to try.

I will guess that there was NO "submit" to send it off and i will have to wait and see.

I have one form with three blanks (manufacturer, model and Gain) still to figure out, but so far it has been hard to determine who manufactured the dish and it is over 15yrs old.  Nothing on the dish itself or mount.

Anyway,  Thanks

I filed our dish a couple weeks ago.   Shortly after filing I could see it only by clicking on “Other IBFS Filings”.    But now I also see it in “My Filings”.    So seems it takes time to show up in My Filings.

Dear Sirs (those who successfully finished the 312 forms)

I completed three (of four) electronic 312 forms on the FCC web site.  They are titled "Drafts".  I went to the "My IBFS" page under "My filings" tab and it does not have them listed as being complete or even filed.  They are listed under "Other Filings", but I am not certain that I have completed the process or if somehow they are submitted?

After you complete the information, what is necessary to officially file it with the FCC.  The "example" paperwork stated to print it and send it with your check

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Mark (MN)
