Inovonics has some general purpose processors that work will and are affordable. I use one and it works well.

I've modified my Omnia One's preset so that it's not aggressive. It's AGC and limiting.

You can still buy compellor 320D's

Omnia makes a studio firmware for the one, i guess they carried that over to the Volt.

I wouldnt write off the compellor just because its old.

Also might check out wheatstones offerings.

Yes, we have good processors at all of our transmitter sites.

The Compellor was good in it's day, but it is very old technology, and you can't buy
them new as far as I know.

Omnia makes great processors and I have used their processors, but they may process
audio more aggressively than I need.

A company used to make a processor that would gently adjust the gain.  I think it was
called Arriane, but I believe they went out of business.

Thanks for your thoughts.

I’ve used Omnia one’s at two previous employers, which worked well and the translators on the other side never had processors, Just ABR’s straight into Crown TX’s.

IF you’ve got a processor on the other side, Which is a better, albeit much more expensive option, an Aphex Compellor is a great choice.
