Hi Dave,

Thank you for your email.

I wanted to forward this message to you. Both files that Jon sent me worked fine in our Automation. See below.

Hi Joel,

My name is Jon Reeder. I'm the new audio person at the CRCNA. I've heard about your issues playing Groundwork.

I've looked back to 10-01-2017 (as far as our FTP dates back) and the MP3s that we share have the same specs:

44.1
128 kbps CBR

One possible issue: I think there is meta data that has them labeled as 32 bit float, which is technically not the case as MP3's do not have tradition bit depth (as far as I've learned.) But, your audio queue program might be reading this meta data and making the choice that it can't play the MP3.

I've only edited episodes from 7/01 and 7/08, but I've bounced them out with 16 bit depth meta data, but otherwise the specs are the same.

Let me know if these work. If so, then we've solved the problem.

Let me know if you have any other thoughts!

Jon
