The datasheet I have for my Comtech 3.8 m dish shows 42.9 db gain at midband.

Anyone know what the receive gain might be on a 3.8 meter Comtech dish, the model number
we cannot seem to locate? The freq is the Consortium freq we’ve been on since the last freq change.
My experience is the new firmware works in even the oldest of the boxes I've had and it plays the AAC streams just fine.
My oldest box I upgraded from a v2 software to 3.15 and it worked fine.
But I'm also on a Barix 100, the higher version boxes may not work that way.

Speaking of Barix codecs, is there any way to upgrade an older box to make it able to decode an AAC+ stream? I tried a firmware update, but it did no good.
