Thread-topic: Remotes

Does the MBR1000 have "Wifi as WAN capability? Some Cradlepoint routers do. I have used that feature to connect to hot spots before.

How do you folks connect to the internet for remotes (audio over IP)? Our normal methodology has been overcome by technology and I need to figure out how to get a router at a remote event connected to the internet. A cell phone usb wifi hot spot will not work.

Previously we used a Verizon Novatel USB551L modem connected to a Cradlepoint MBR1000 router (in the routers USB port) and it worked fine – until today when the USB551L died.
