A fellow engineer is using a couple Crown E series Ecreso at a very remote site with dirty AC power.    He installed remote controlled “reboot” AC contactors in the 240 VAC mains because power bumps were making the Ecreso’s sometimes lock up and off air till rebooted.   They run at 11,000 feet above sea level.  He had to send one Ecreso for repair, I think it needed re-programming.

We have a couple BW Broadcast transmitters at the same site that never locked up.

Does anyone have experience with Ecreso transmitters made in France?
