It was not Linux...it is REACTOS which is under development. It is a new OS, neither Windows or Linux

Which distro are you using? I have used Linux Mint Cinnamon here for a couple of years and have only had one issue out of all the installs (9 so far) I have done and that was a WiFi driver issue on one Dell laptop and that was easily resolved with a new Broadcom driver install.

Yesterday I downloaded a copy and at this point I can't get it to work. On one computer I actually got it to boot up and on the internet. But I couldn't install drivers for a sound card. I couldn't add other programs.

It looks and feels very much like Windows and if it worked it would be great. Doesn't take much time to install.

But other problems include mouse locking up and not booting, up all the way with a mouse connected.

So there are some serious bugs at this point. Would like to try installing programs but couldn't. I couldn't map to other computers. Ping them yes. Map no. Not even in a command prompt.

So, if anyone else is successful I'd like to know
