If there’s a way to make that thing decode analog AM stereo, I’d buy one today.

This dongle and many others displays signal strength when connected to a cell phone running free apps.
Not very basic, but this displays signal strength in dBuV. Very nice for relative comparisons. Also measures much else such as modulation, RDS sub level, pilot
level, decodes RDS, etc.

Are you aware of any inexpensive, very basic, analog FM receiver modules? The goal is to come up with a simple "relative" field strength measuring device for fairly strong FM radio signals.
I've tinkered with a 2-transistor design with a single tank circuit front-end, that "kinda works", but I'd like something more selective, and a bit more sensitive.
Meanwhile, a-Googling I will go. ;)
