To the Braintrust:

As I continue to wade deeper into Linux Mint, I'm discovering some things that I absolutely NEED (and MISS having) from Windows!! Things like right-click menu items, such as "Search", or the ability to select file(s) in a folder, then right-click-drag to another, and have an option menu pop up [Copy] [Move] (etc) to make this easier. (For now, I click "copy" in one folder, then "paste" in another... TEDIOUS!!)

Is there a utility, script, or step-by step instructions out there that can be used to "Windify" the MATE Desktop of Linux Mint? I've looked at some of the ideas that come up in the plethora of results from Google searches, but as many of you know... that can be very tedious and OFTEN leads down a lot of dead-end rabbit holes! :/

I'm hoping someone here knows about this, and even better, has done it! :)

The primary goal being to make using Linux as FAMILIAR to Windows users (like myself and others) as possible. (Especially for others!) I want people to be able to "just get in and drive", and not have to go to "driving school" to learn a whole new interface/way of driving.

Thanks! :)
