I downgraded a couple our VS from version 4.3 because of the issues. But still was having LAN disconnects till enabling the Watchdog Timer. The disconnects were also happening on a unit never upgraded to V4.3.
Instead of enabling the watchdog, host resets can be done manually and remotely through a separate remote control system by programing and wiring a remote I/O contact closure, but I opted to enable the watchdog on all our units.

Subject: RE: [CRTech] Nautel Transmitters
There are known issues with the robustness of the network interface on V4.3 release. Here is the note from the FTP site:
A small percentage of VS customers have experienced TCP/IP network stability issues.
We have temporarily removed VS SW 4.3 from distribution while we investigate and correct this issue.
They talked about this at the NUG last year. I expect an update next month.

We have three Nautel Transmitters, a vs 2.5, an NV 3.5 LT, and a NV 5. We have been having random Lan disconnection issues. Are we the only ones having troubles with the Nautel Transmitters?
