Keep in mind your specific automation if it doesn’t store all the configs in the database, you may have other config files that youll want to backup.

I only backup the database and audio files, not every computer, they can all be reimaged fairly easily.
I do recommend keeping a spare automation computer (even if it doesn’t have a liscense dongle, just move the dongle as needed) that can be swapped in quickly in case a critical machine fails.
This thread on backups has me quivering a little. I never really considered backing up my automation computers. I'm not even sure what I would need to back up. And to back up all the computers in my building would take about 20 terabytes.
Can you back up a Windows 8 computer while it's on the air running Zetta and the Axia audio drivers?
