It must have been... because I'm watching our EbNo right now, and it's slowly dropping, which is normal for the few days before the "solar fade" effect. Thus, I will be updating my note to say 1PM... not 2PM. ;)

The sun just started to "peek through" some clouds, and I got a glimpse of the feedhorn's shadow in the dish. The shadow is only about an inch above the dead center. No tree shadows or anything else. :) The EbNo is now starting its expected increase.

Also, the "Midas Touch" was in effect, as I was closely watching the receivers waiting to see if there was any change when the usual, occasional "blurps" happened during the "live" SRN newscast. No "blurps"... the watched pot never boils. ;)
