Nope.

It's just a copy program.

A very good one, but not really for backups, just copies.

We used Robocopy to move a lot of data when migrating local Exchange servers to Office 365 when I was at the IT shop in 2014, and occasionally for migrating data drives to new servers. We did do some data drive daily copies with it as well but for real backups we used ShadowProtect from Storagecraft. Not cheap but worked well for real, bootable backups. It was very simple in ShadowProtect to mount a backup to retrieve copies of files (something I know you can also do with Backupper).

I'm familiar with Robocopy.

Will it copy a COMPLETE, bootable Windows image onto a new disk drive, tho? AOMEI Backupper does. :)

I did have success restoring the backup using V3.2 so I guess I will be keeping that older version around a little longer. ;)

The utility is called "robocopy" and has  attributes which allow you to copy new files to old and/or delete files on the target drive that no longer exist on the source drive.  You can get the attributes of RoboCopy by typing RoboCopy /? in a command prompt.
