Another question, if your organization has only one website for a large number of stations, do you need to post a separate link on the home page for each of the many stations?

Or can you just post this one link with a note to search the callsign?

https://publicfiles.fcc.gov/

Thanks,

Bill

Thank you very Much bill that looks like it will do it! I tested by the search function and shows the url as you suggest, but displays:

“We're Sorry.

This entity has not yet transitioned to online public file.

Please check back soon or try searching for another profile above.”

Which is true and to be expected.

Thank you.

Address needs to specify am-profile or fm-profile.

https://publicfiles.fcc.gov/fm-profile/callsign    for an FM station.

This is the address you arrive at after searching for the station at

https://publicfiles.fcc.gov/

Tested these with a station that is online.

Hi all,

About to wrap up my OPIF adventure, it’s been fun (Glad I’m no longer taking care of 14 stations…..)

Does anyone know if there is a way to know what the link you need to put on your stations website will be without actually making it live? I’d like to get the link to my website people ASAP because mit may take a day or two to get it done but I wasn’t going to make the file public until Monday or Tuesday.

I assume it will be something like www.fcc.gov/publicfile/callsign? Or maybe facility ID#?

Anyone?

Thanks!
