At the station I was with before working with Moody, we had Planar touchscreens as well as the usual keyboard/mouse combo. The touchscreens
were used almost exclusively as it was very simple to add songs, fire sound wall items, rearrange the schedule, etc. The only exception or additional item is that I made a “panic button” – a giant 3” diameter red button that fired the next element. Having
that and the touchscreens negated the need for a physical keyboard for automation control and hotkeys. The keyboard and mouse were almost never used unless I was in the studio doing maintenance.

Subject: [CRTech] Touchscreens?
We are getting ready for a major studio overhaul and were wondering what you are using for monitors in your studios and what your jocks prefer (or if they do). Touch screens vs. mouse operated?
