initially had touch screens with our iMedia Touch system.
The short answer? We hated them. Always dirty, bad burn in
and even when you turn the power off, they were still on.
Soooo, when we thought we could clean them while off, we
could not because they were still receptive to touch and we
would stop or start numerous events. Mouse is quicker and if
you have to update too much of your on air content, your arm
will get tired holding it up.
we see a pic of your 55” monitor? We too are in the process
of a studio update, I like the idea of that but I would like
to show it to the team here.
had touch screens and opted for 55" wall mounted
monitors. Keeps the clutter in the studio down. We did
have 6 monitors mounted around the control board. Now
it's 3 on the walls and all can be set to see each of
the 4 computers in the studio.
