Hi all,

I have a sometimes client with about the worst cut to cut level variations that I have ever heard in their music, spots, voice tracks and liners.  It stemmed from a lack of maintenance, lack of interest, drag-and-drop cut ingestion and the mass aggregation of cuts from several different sources.

Has anybody done a full library normalization (thousands of cuts)?  What software did you use?  Any problems?  How consistent were the levels afterward?  Was there a limit to how much the software would correct the levels?

And as always, free or cheap is good...
