Thread-topic: [CRTech] Comrex - CrossLock

I don’t have it functional yet.  We are still in planning mode here, but I’m hoping to have it functional on two transmitters in the next couple of weeks.  The only thing I’m confident of so far is that I wouldn’t put it over a cellular connection because it’s always pushing audio 24/7/365.  It’s two simultaneous audio paths.

We are about to implement it for our remotes using Verizion and WiFi. Do you have any tips on making it work?

The understanding is two completely independent internet connections on both ends simultaneously pushing audio … and how does it sound when it has to switch between the connections?  Comrex says “nearly seamless” – just curious how good it really sounds?

We’ve got it working. What do you feel is too good to be true?

Anyone have CrossLock from Comrex in service?

It sounds too good to be true … and I was hoping to hear from someone who actually has it in service …

Thanks!  Andy
