Thread-topic: [CRTech] Comrex - CrossLock

This is very similar to Tieline’s SmartStream Plus.  Here’s the ‘How It Works:’ http://www.tieline.com/Transports/SmartStream-IP

We have this working on our two STL links; failover is seamless.  Several times, I’ve had to unplug one or the other Ethernet cable, without any audio loss or degradation.

Never noticed when/if it switched!

The understanding is two completely independent internet connections on both ends simultaneously pushing audio … and how does it sound when it has to switch between the connections?  Comrex says “nearly seamless” – just curious how good it really sounds?

We’ve got it working. What do you feel is too good to be true?

Anyone have CrossLock from Comrex in service?

It sounds too good to be true … and I was hoping to hear from someone who actually has it in service …

Thanks!  Andy
