Sorry, I don't have an A50 for you, but I can tell you that the transformer-based DMP-50 mic preamps are really worth having!  This is especially true with some cap and opamp upgrades.  I have a couple of them mounted in an external box, and use them in my studio often.  For a bottom of the line console, they really came with some great mic pre's.

If anyone has some worn-out A50 consoles (the switches didn't hold-up very well), please, pull the mic preamp boards out of them before they go to the dumpster.  I'm not sure where the mic transformers came from, but they are worth the effort.

Hi Everyone,

i have a client who runs an internet station, and wants to do V/O work
as well, he is currently operating on a shoestring budget and dealing
with a basket case Arrakis 12000 series console.

I'd like to find him a very very cheap or free A50 prefer fully loaded
with 2 DMP-50's. in the Denver Area.

i'm familiar with the A50 as i have one in my studio as well and can
trouble shoot any issues it may have.

i'm not against traveling as far as the springs, Fort Collins, etc or
meeting half way and i will reimburse you for travel.

i have everything is his studio working but i can't seem to get that
arrakis to play nice w/o doing oddball things and yes it is grounded and
still acting like a basket case.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

i prefer Denver area cause he really can't even afford shipping right
now. i want to get him up and running so i can get this off my plate. i
am pretty much helping him gratis as far as my time and only taking gas
and mileage when i go out there every other week.

thank you and god bless

Robert in Denver
