I'm not sure what spreadsheet was available, but I printed out this page right from the FCC. It has specifics about what needs to be in the file, and how long each item needs to be there.

I can't answer for Tom, but in our case, there's very few things that need to be uploaded. Much is already there, and the rest we can't put it there if it doesn't exist.

We don't have program-specific donors. As a non-com, we don't do political advertising. We have only two full-time employees, so no EEO file. And praise God, no complaints to the FCC or ongoing investigations.

My reading of the wording on the local public notices is that they only need to be there while an application is in progress. "Retain for as long as the application to which it refers." The application needs only to be retained "until final action is taken on the application." So if you have no pending applications, it would seem nothing in these categories need be uploaded.

Tom, what about your Programs Sponsors list, Political File, Local Public Notice Announcements, EEO file, and Complaints. Are they not required in the Public File?

I'm not sure if you really need a checklist for the FCC Online PIF.

I'm just finishing ours, and as a non-com, I think the only thing I've
had to upload is the quarterly Issues and Programs.  For being a federal
site, it is not too bad.

There is a different way to log in. Using your main FRN and password,
you have to get to a site that will give you a different number and
password per station.  Then log in with those.

With regard to the Issues and Programs, simply go to that area and make
a sub-directory, if you wish, for each year, starting with when your
license was last renewed. The site will accept PDF or word docs. Rather

Now, Before I push the "Commit to the Universe forever" button, I will
have our FCC attorney check it all out for me.

The FCC themselves fills out a lot of the information for you. If you
are a commercial station, there will be other concerns.
