I was looking at the ‘Donor List for NCE’s’ requirements…and it looks like the only donors you need to list in your public files are the ones that have sponsored a ‘specific’ program that you aired.

Is it correct to say that we DO NOT have to keep a list of other donors that support the station?

Early in this new venture the FCC Website ‘disappeared’ a lot of information and thus you had to start over. I am not responsible for uploading any of the new reports etc. but I do cross check those who do and verify that they are showing. I do that by using the Snipping Tool to capture the page showing the file with the date and time when it was posted and then pasting it into the message replying to the person who posted it that I have verified it ‘still’ exists online.

Document and verify or pay the price for Data Happens!

If you have not started the process yet, it is not too bad. The worst part is the log in.

Here is a link to an FCC page with more info.

The good part is that you can upload files in most common formats such as doc, docx, pdf, etc.

Some info is already there for you, such as your licenses, applications and contour maps.

For the file that you upload, you get to organize them. The FCC seems to be open on how you organize things, just make it logical. I suggest using folders as needed and be consistent on file names. Once you have uploaded a file you can rename or delete it.

There is, for now at least, a master switch to put you info online to the public.

You can upload your station logo, 200 x 200 pixels.

There is a history tab so you can see what you’ve done.

Not so obvious: Mouse over “Manage Public Inspection Files” to get a drop down menu of what section to work in.
