Thread-topic: [CRTech] Public File Spreadsheet?

One other quick hint:

If you go straight to the Issues and  Programs folder already in place or if you make sub directories, when you are ready to ‘upload’ your doc’s, go straight to the ‘target destination’ folder  and upload from there. That eliminates the need to go to the Home page and then “move” the documents to the folder that they belong in. When you first login in you will see the Upload dialogues and it sort of leads one to believe that all ‘uploads’ are done on the Home page, which does in fact work. But then you have to go through the ‘move’ process to get them in their proper place. Just going to the Final Resting place and load from there is way easier.

Also your EEO reports also need to be online now.

I don't know if this is what everyone is looking for....but I put this together last week for another broadcaster here in Oregon.

https://publicfiles.fcc.gov/admin/   Takes you to Entity Sign In.

If you have not set up a passcode, click "How do I get a Passcode". You will need to know your FRN and password for that station.  This takes you to a page showing your stations and generates a passcode which may change if you wish.  When you have a passcode return to https://publicfiles.fcc.gov/admin/

At Entity Sign In,
select Station Type
Enter station Facility ID
Enter Passcode
Sign In

This takes you to the "station page".  You should see documents the FCC has already loaded, license, Public and Broadcasting.

To upload your documents click Additional Documents.

Click Upload Documents.  You may drop files into the box or click Add and search for the file and then click the file you want to add.  Accepted formats: PDF, DOC(x), RTF, XLS(x), TXT.
Start Upload

When upload is done your can click Go Back and you should see the file you uploaded.  If you made a mistake you can move the uploaded file to the trash can and start over.

I came up with the following naming convention for my Public Affairs files:
KNLR 2014 Quarter 1 Quarterly Issues.doc
KNLR 2014 Quarter 2 Quarterly Issues.doc

Hello All,

It's the New Year and time for me to get serious about getting our Public File online.  Someone had put together a quick checklist for to do's for the online Public File setup if I remember.  Could someone send me that spreadsheet?  I would greatly appreciate it!
