That's my primary on-air console here, love it for how easy it is to hook up and keep running.  
I'd actually check and or change the series limiting resistor first, before taking on the issue of the LED itself.  With use, the resistor can increase in value from heat and cause the LED to dim.

Subject: [CRTech] Radio Systems Millennium lights

Our LEDs are dimming on some of our channels and busses on our analog Millennium consoles. It looks like I'm going to have to do some soldering to replace these lamps. Anyone done it recently? Will a simple lamp replacement fix my problems?
