It is not Techsoup's policies that limit the donations. It is the policies of the product providers.

MS in the last few years re-worded their donation policy to not allow donations to organizations that practice discrimination not permitted by law. Since FCC EEO rules do permit our religious hiring practices, we are able to participate in the MS donation program through Techsoup.

I agree that some other vendors have not followed suit; Adobe in particular.

Yes, Techsoup has changed their policies in the last few years.  And, to be fair, some things (Quickbooks) aren’t as restricted.  Others, however, are (Microsoft, Adobe, Bitdefender).
