Ok. Maybe things have changed. The last two christian radio stations i worked for used texh soup for some software.

There are other sellers out there. One is genesis technologies i believe. I just had to scan and send my 501c3 paperwork. No queations asked.

Techsoup’s offerings are severely curtailed for faith-based ministries; Adobe, in particular requires the following:

Organizations that advocate, support, or practice discrimination based on age, ethnicity, gender, national origin, disability, race, size, religion, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic background are not eligible to participate in this program. Organizations must be willing and able to attest that they do not discriminate on any of these grounds in order to receive donations.

Here are a list of open source alternatives: https://opensource.com/alternatives/dreamweaver

Of that list, I have used Bluefish, which seemed relatively intuitive.

You could try an open source editor like Blue Griffon.

Does the church just have a domain with FTP? Is there no CMS? I think ideally a church website should be set up with a CMS that allows people who need to do so to post and edit their own content (Pastor, Youth Leader, Children’s ministry, Women’s ministry, etc.). It’s a real headache for you if you have to manage everyone’s content.

Hey Guys:

I know some of you work on websites.  I used to maintain a number of websites for a company I worked for in New England.

My church has asked me to maintain their site.

I did a short Google search and didn't find something that I liked.  No, Google is not always your friend.  Google has a free beta editor, but it does not open files it did not create.

I'd like something like Dream Weaver or Home Site, but without the sticker shock.  I'm not really interested in just a note pad editor, as I would like to see the code and the actual page side by side.

I am looking for software that's reasonably priced; less than about $300.  I would consider free, but you don't always get much for free.  I tried an on line editor or two, but those that I tried did not even have a way to open my existing pages.

If you know a place that sells cheaply to non-profits that would be a great place to purchase the software as this is for my church.

Thanks for your thoughts!
