I have a Rigol spectrum analyzer, been happy with it, much for the money.   Also using the matching carry case accessory Rigol sells which is very rugged and good quality.  Can safely carry around in the truck to many sites.     I saw an Owon soft bag case on a youtube video that appeared much more flimsy than the Rigol.

To the Braintrust:

Back in 2016, I was asking about reasonably-priced digital O'scopes. My beloved bride said that I can buy one for my B'day (which was yesterday, 11/19. I just hit the big double-nickel!)

So... I'm once again seriously looking at the options! :)

Last we addressed this, the best "bang for the buck" was either brand, Owon or Rigol.

Has anyone had more experience with any of these in the past 12 months, and care to share? :)

I'm looking in the $500~$700 range for one that is good to 100Mhz (or more) and also looking for a reputable seller. (In case there are any issues.)
