We have a number of Pira 332 RDS encoders at network satellite sites. Since the programming at each site is so identical, I made a backup file from one unit and use that to program all the others very quickly. About the only custom settings are the network settings, level, and pilot to RDS sub-carrier phase shift.

The Inovomics 730 is a fantastic piece of hardware, I recommend it if you have the budget.
If the price tag is a bit painful I recommend the PIRA 332 at pira.cz.
I have both units here. I like the Inovonics front panel, you can do almost everything from the front panel. The PIRA has to be setup through its webpage or over serial with it’s software. The pira is in a plastic half rack box with a wall wart psu, the Inovonics is in a nice rackmount metal chassis with internal PSU. I’m not doing anything fancy with mine but we are doing dynamic RDS. Never messed with commercials.
Just to get the collective's opinion: Which would you say is the best and easiest to program for a full dynamic RDS encoder?
