Feeling your pain, Brother. Been there, felt that.
“Father God, will you bless my brother Jim and the ministry he serves in for you in the midst of this frustration? He has more than enough burdens to carry right now, and much more critical to deal with, than fussy circuits and chips. Please, master designer, keep the software running without corruption, the voltage flowing without fail, and the audio playing without glitches. Grant Jim and his fellow staff members your grace and _expression_ so they may clearly communicate your message, and help the listeners catch the ministry vision for success in their gathering of resources for furthering the gospel. Thank Father and provider, In Jesus name.”
Peace, brother, and prevail. He’s with you and stronger than frustrations that face you.

Subject: [CRTech] Equipment bugs just before pledge drive.
(Yes, I'm venting) This is going to probably sound pretty normal, but we are heading into our pledge drive next week and yes, at 4pm yesterday, our Voice Track/On-Air Backup computer decided it needed a new CPU fan AND a new power supply. After making those repairs, I also had to re-seat the PCIe sound card in another slot so it would show up, which also meant I had to reassign all my audio paths in Zetta. Somewhere in that process, I clicked the wrong thing and somehow took over control of the on-air computer and took the audio off the air. Not knowing what I did, it took the Zetta people almost 30 mins to figure out how to reset it. This morning I had to call them again because I had no record input to the voice track program. These are not things I have time for!!!!!
