These machines are from about 2005ish. P4 1500MHz processors, all in excellent condition. Definitely NOT cutting edge, but still capable and useful.

They sat in storage since about 2008, and I've gotten them all running XP/SP3 for now. :)

I guess I'll be looking into Fred Gleason's ideas. :) They will probably run Linux just fine! ;)

I think that almost all Intel processors since 2010 have been 64-bit capable. So even some pretty old hardware might be good enough for a test. 5-year-old PCs are being recycled all the time.
