I have used Econco over the years with mixed results.  About 50% of the time, I had to send the tube back as it did not make full power.

Only two re-builders that I know of and you never know if they tube they send back will last as long as a new one, or if it will make full power.

We even bought a new tube and it failed after a short period of time.

That why we are phasing out tube transmitters whenever we can across our network of stations.

Thanks Lyle!  I had used them for many years but got away after numerous problems.  However I am all of a sudden experiencing very short life on several tubes I got from Richardson and their idea was to buy some new tubes instead of continuing to rebuild my old ones over and over.   I was getting 18 months plus then the last two I put in were about 3 months and they were totally worn out! A third one would not make full power right out of the box.   My old tube made more power than it did.  Drop the filament voltage .2v (point 2) on the one that was 3 months old and the power would drop 15-20%or more!

I guess their idea on a new one is to get a core that is not so used up.  Not sure how to interpret that idea just yet.  Guess it is too early on the weekend to get my head around that one.  I can understand where they are coming from but it kind of defeats the whole rebuilt concept.   Have a good weekend! :-)
