I am planning on going up to the center of totality and setting up a portable ham station to work the Eclipse QSO Party.  I just put the finishing touches on an SDR based (SDRPlay) receiver and Chris Scott NRSC loop.  I hope to record the entire AM band for a few hours both here at the shop and at the center of totality.

The same for pretty much anywhere in Missouri, I’m hearing rumors that hotel rooms are booked in Southern IA and those people will be driving down into Missouri that day to watch, then driving back afterwards. My little county is on the intersection of the highways they will be traveling. I foresee an interesting and busy day that day here.
